TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,

Know ye that Jarrett Foster, a private of Captain John Elliott’s, company of mounted Tennessee Volunteers commanded by Major William Lauderdale, who was enrolled on the 1st day of November 1837, to serve for the period of Six Months, having served FAITHFULLY, is hereby HONORABLY DISCHARGED.

Given at Baton-Rouge, Louisiana, this 10th day of May 1838.
