Dear Brother

I received your letter some days ago, was glad to hear from you.  You got a little mixed on my age, I was born January 9, 1846.  You are 4 years older than I am.  Dialtha, was between you and I.

Mother always told me that you were born February 15th 1842 and that I was born January 9th 1846.

I am the baby one of the family and a twin.  You remember hearing mother talk about Dialthe don’t you, she was between you and me.  You being born Feb. 15, 1842, that would make you 76 this coming February and I will be 72 in January.

I hope you will be able to come out in the spring, I would like to see you once more, you will see great changes in this country.  Would like very much to go over some of our old stomping grounds with you.

I will close for this time.
As ever, your brother

F.M. Foster
