Location

Location. 37° 49.222′ N, 94° 49.945′ W. Marker is near Marmaton, Kansas, in Bourbon County. Marker is on Kansas Road west of 155th Street, on the right when traveling west. Marker is in Marmaton Cemetery.

Recounting the Marmaton Massacre and here references Mr. Prigmore.  Andrew J. Foster referenced an uncle Johnny Prigmore as abing someone they lived with in Kansas when first moving from Missouri.  Of note, there are Progmores in the Union County South Carolina census that were neighbours then.  Perhaps they moved as a family group?
